It's back again - my life!

Our virgin date!
Me and Jenny
Crew Room - empty bottle she's holding
We finished the very-little-left-over Martell

It's a happy night with neighbour last Friday.
We had dinner tgt, went Crew Room to finish my balance and headed to DBL O =)

It's been freaking long since I last went DBL O and of cos, it's also been ages since I last clubbed. I'm damn happy can! Initially wanted to go O Bar, but I guess we were early so the music wasnt tht gd so we went to DBL O warm up 1st. The songs in DBL O are really damn OLD. Not a single new songs at all. All the songs are as old as Candy Shop, Belly Dancer, Hollaback Girl and many more old songs lah. Kinda trying very hard to 自-high so we drank shots. Hahs.

The fastest to get high, Tequila shot still the best. Eeeww~
We headed to O Bar abt 2am and it was really GREAT lah. Shld have went dwn earlier! New songs, nice songs and hip songs. Though it was crowded than DBL O but it was really much better.

Surprisingly, I saw 2 of my secondary schmates. Joo Seng and Lydia.
Lydia is the doorbitch there. Chatted with her for awhile while smking.

Aft O bar, met Rebecca awhile at Bak Kut Teh. Headed to DF with Lydia and Kenneth. Well, Fri is a night full of activities till early morn. Imagine aft DF, Ken and I went to BQ. Drink again with his friends. Last stop, Rav.

RAV SUCKS!
It's only a pathetic small club but yet the kinda money you gonna pay to get in is as if tht place is full of celeb. wth! Have to queue (whn thr's not a single soul q-ing) and the girls to get in 1st before the guys.

Very full of crap! Open 1 bottle for 4pax to get in free. WTF!
I dont see tht place so great till you need to "beg" to get in. All of us waited outside like as if the queue is so long. The staff there are like police doing spot checks. Damn turn-off lah!

It's a NO-NO place!
I wont be gg thr anymore. Not worth the money. If it's Zouk or MOS still understandable but Rav is small and it's only a normal pub-like club. Music not gd at all and the staff there are so cautious with patrons like us gg in. They clearly forgot tht we're the 消费者okay!

Btw, I guess my Melbourne trip is cancelled. Sigh~ -_-"
Dont say le. Now can only look forward to my next fateful trip.

I'm gg to work again! Hopefully. *grinz

I love cooking!

Cai Xin

Chicken Curry

I have the sudden urge to hands on and cook today. I went to NTUC and get the necessary ingredients for my dinner. Although this is the 3rd time I've attempt to cook chicken curry, I still love to do it once again. All bcos I really love the curry my mommy used to cook last time. The side dish will be vege and I've chosen Cai Xin. The other alternative is cabbage. My family have this habit to have a vege to go with chicken curry as the curry is rather heaty and spicy, so it'll be best if there's a vege to balance your taste buds.

Actually, it is not difficult to cook. Hmm...maybe just the preparations are abit tedious.

For cooking chicken curry, you'll need to peel the potatoes, carrots and also chop the chicken into smaller pieces. I've added carrots in it so as to add in a little sweetness to the curry and also bcos eating too many potatoes will make my tummy feel a bit tight. So carrots can help to balance it.

The serving of chicken will depend on how many ppl will be eating or the amount of curry you'll be cooking. I've always chosen half chicken (rem to get rid of the skin & check for feathers when cleaning) and sometimes add a few wings if I feel tht it is not enough. Not forgetting, the coconut milk and the chicken curry paste. It can all be found in supermarkets (e.g NTUC).

Maybe one day you shld really try cooking yourself. I love the satisfaction and of cos being a woman alrdy, I shld learn how to cook.

At least a meal tht's edible.

My next attempt will be double boiled soup - 六味汤. I love this soup since young and I will really wanna learn how to double boil this soup. It is a healthy soup. Besides that, I also wanna learn to boil soups like 黑豆汤, 花生汤 and Bak Kut Teh. It is really very nice. My mom seldom cook now except for Mondays and bcos my maid does everything, she hardly finish all the cooking herself.

I rather learn and cook it myself lah. I've always wanted to be a 女强人 who can 出的了厅堂, 进的了厨房. I wont wanna be a 黄脸婆. Seriously, a healthy brought up is really very impt. Just like my family. I sincerely thank God for giving me such a wonderful family and wonderful mommy. I've always treat her as my model to be a gd "chef".

Wait till my next cooking update on the soup. That's all for now. =D

The Crew Room on 09.08.08

Sunflower from my beloved girls!
I really love it alot...
I've been showering the flowers with sunlight & water.

more pictures to be updated soon... =)

I had my bday pre-celebration on National day with my beloved girls. We headed to town for dinner at Spageddies and to The Crew Room aft tht. Specially booked a room for our privacy. It's a drink, drank and drunk night! I really enjoyed all of your company and thanks a million for the bday cake, presents, the sunflower and nt forgetting chipping in for the drinks too.

I always believe that you dont need many friends to make your bday celebration look grand but as long as your true friends remember you and they are there to share the joy with you, it's more than enough alrdy. I truely appreciate those who've been there on my bday for consecutive years and I really hope that for the upcoming years, we'll still be celebrating our bdays tgt! Friends forever...

I'm still a "rugby football game"

Hahs. We were talking abt how girls aged and wad kinda game we belong to at different ages. Glad to knw that we're still a rugby football game now(many guys gg aft the rugby ball) and Bec was telling me seems tht as we get older, we dont really care abt bdays anymore. I find it very true! I guess few yrs dwn the road, we wont even wanna rem our bday anymore. LOL.

Our topics are very much on cars, money, sugar daddy and still....money! omfg. WHY do we have this thing called "money"? It really kills!

I tot of changing my mobile phone. I wanna get a slide one if possible but there are so many phones in the market now till I dont knw which is gd. It's hard to choose in terms of function, durability and design. It's not cheap too.

Actually now thinking back abt my bday, I think just a simple one will do. As long as all my close friends are celebrating with me, I'm contented enuff alrdy. Really dont knw whr to go, pubbing or wad? Sounds bored yeah. I thought clubbing wld be more fun, hah.

Till then :)
